Organizers of the Steel Rail Revival held in June presented a check for proceeds raised at the June music event. Thanks to a large crowd, the event raised nearly $31,000 for the Rochester Regional Health Neurosciences Institute which offers a wide range of comprehensive programs and services for the diagnosis, treatment and long-term care of brain, spinal cord, and peripheral nerve disease. The music festival was held on Sunday, June 9 in Fairport. It featured more than two dozen acts on four stages.
Among those present for the check presentation were: Steve Bartolotta, festival producer; Eric Bieber, MD, Rochester Regional Health CEO; Mary Dombovy, MD, Rochester Regional Health vice president of neurology.
