Rochester Regional Health is working diligently to administer the COVID-19 vaccines in accordance with supply availability and the New York State Department of Health’s distribution plan. Our central Rochester Regional Health team is working hard to call eligible patients of Rochester Regional Health and affiliated offices to schedule their COVID-19 vaccination appointments. Our vaccination clinics are currently by appointment only. Patients do not need to contact us to schedule a vaccine appointment; we will contact them as supply allows.
We are encouraged by the many employees, staff members and eligible patients who continue to roll up their sleeves to get vaccinated. We are holding vital clinics for eligible essential workers and community members in partnership with the Finger Lakes COVID-19 Vaccine Task Force and other regional organizations. We are closely collaborating and sharing our COVID-19 testing and vaccine processes.
We have vaccinated more than 14,000 members (first and second doses) of our vast workforce, including employees in clinical areas, Medical and Dental staff members (employed and non-employed), Greater Rochester Independent Practice Association members, contractors, and others. The 14,000 vaccinations also include over 1,000 eligible essential workers from the communities we serve in the NYSDOH’s 1A prioritization.
RRH reminds patients to sign up for MyCare to stay updated on vaccine information.
