MASSENA, NY – Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Jill Kennedy, has joined the Psychiatric team at St. Lawrence Health’s (SLH) Massena Hospital. She is practicing in the Behavioral Health Outpatient office on the main floor of the Hospital.
NP Kennedy is board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing degree through the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, NY.
She comes to Massena Hospital with experience on a state level working for chemical dependency services and providing mental health treatment, and as a community mental health Registered Nurse.
NP Kennedy is thrilled to be working with the same health system as her daughter, SLH Critical Care Unit Registered Nurse Lexi Kennedy. They are both North Country natives.

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Kennedy possesses the knowledge and clinical skills in psychiatric-mental health to make diagnosis and provide treatment to her patients. She may prescribe psychotropic medications; provide individual, group, and family psychotherapy; and crisis intervention, case management, and consultations.
