POTSDAM, NY – Timothy Page, MD, FCCP, has joined the St. Lawrence Health Emergency Medicine team. He is providing care in the Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Gouverneur Hospital, and Massena Hospital Emergency departments. 

Dr. Page holds a Certificate of Special Qualifications in Critical Care Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP), and is American Board of Internal Medicine eligible.

Dr. Page earned his medical degree at Hahnemann University Medical School, Philadelphia, PA; and completed his internship and residency at Robert Packer Hospital/Guthrie Clinic, Sayre, PA. He further completed a Critical Care Fellowship at the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse, NY.

“I picked St. Lawrence Health and the North Country because of the excellent care given by the providers, and the warmth and friendliness of the staff,” Dr. Page said. “This is a great system to be working in and which to provide emergency medical care.

“This region is truly a beautiful area. I love life with my three standard poodles, and coming to St. Lawrence Health was a great opportunity,” he added.

Dr. Page comes to St. Lawrence Health with extensive Emergency Medicine experience, including having served as an Emergency Department Medical Director, and Medical Staff President. He taught as an Assistant Professor at the SUNY Health Science Center at Syracuse in the areas of Critical Care Medicine, Anesthesiology, Surgery, and Emergency Medicine.

He is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, American College of Emergency Physicians, and Society of Critical Care Medicine.

Dr. Page provides comprehensive care in all matters requiring immediate attention, including chest pain, stroke, and seizures. He also provides trauma care from motor vehicle accidents, sports injuries, burns, allergic reactions, difficulty breathing, and especially during these challenging times, infectious diseases relating to the management of viruses.
