First and foremost, I hope this message finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. Under normal circumstances we might be reaching out to you, a supporter of Rochester Regional Health, to provide updates on projects that are underway, to invite you to an event, or (my favorite part) to share stories about Rochester Regional. Today, however, I am writing to simply say thank you.
Because of your generosity, we stand ready to care for our community. When you gave to the Because Care Matters campaign, you made it possible for us to have the most up-to-date technology to support respiratory illnesses; you invested in expanding our buildings, most especially the Sands-Constellation Center for Critical Care; and you helped us make investments in training our clinical teams to deliver exceptional care to our patients.
The strength of our system is our people. The herculean work our physicians, nurses and care teams are doing to manage through COVID-19 is awe-inspiring. We are incredibly proud of our colleagues who know the danger yet continue to give their all to serve each patient. In these unprecedented times, what is clear to so many is this – care matters now more than ever before.
Thank you for caring enough about your friends and neighbors to invest in their good health, and thank you for believing in us. You are part of our team and together we can overcome any challenge.
