Rochester Regional Health is pleased to announce that for the third consecutive year, we have earned CHIME HealthCare’s Most Wired quality award for 2020. CHIME's Most Wired program conducts annual surveys using data from over 16,000 healthcare organizations to assess how effectively healthcare organizations use advanced technologies to improve healthcare in our communities. This year, Rochester Regional Health earned special recognition as a "level 8" organization.
Organizations in level 8 have deployed technologies and strategies (e.g., population health/cost-of-care analytics, HIEs/integration engines, and patient portals) to help them analyze their data and are starting to achieve meaningful clinical and efficiency outcomes," the certification reads. "Some of these organizations are experimenting with more advanced technologies, like telehealth, that expand access to care."
“We are thrilled to once again be recognized as one of Healthcare’s Most Wired organizations,” said John Glynn, Chief Information Officer for Rochester Regional Health. “This award recognizes our progress in strategically applying and leveraging healthcare technologies to transform and advance how we deliver care, especially in the face of the current pandemic.”
This year's level 8 certification recognizes Acute, Ambulatory, and Long Term Care.
Surveys assessed the adoption, integration and impact of technologies in healthcare organizations throughout the country. Each participating organization received a customized benchmarking report, an overall score and scores for individual levels in eight segments:
