POTSDAM, NY – Nurse Practitioner (NP) Nikita Goliber has joined the Center for Cancer Care’s Oncology team at Canton-Potsdam Hospital.
She earned her Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the State University of New York Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. She comes to St. Lawrence Health with experience as an NP, as well as being a Registered Nurse, all within the North Country.
“The Potsdam area has been my home since 2004, when I began my education at Clarkson University. This is also where my husband grew up and where we hope to raise our family,” Mrs. Goliber said.
“I feel that being a medical provider is a privilege, and having been in Primary Care for the last seven years has given me a broad exposure to medical care. During that time, my greatest satisfaction has been advocating for my patients and helping them navigate through a difficult medical diagnosis,” she said.
Mrs. Goliber further commented on the expanding opportunities afforded to St. Lawrence Health patients through the affiliation with Rochester Regional Health.
“The affiliation provides additional options for new and advancing medical care. I am elated to be part of this growing network and Oncology/Hematology department at Canton-Potsdam Hospital,” she said.
As an NP in Oncology, Mrs. Goliber provides comprehensive care to patients who have been diagnosed with cancer, and collaborates with other healthcare providers to develop treatment plans for cancer patients.
