SLH Behavioral Health Fairs

St. Lawrence Health (SLH) and community partners are inviting healthcare workers and the general public to recognize Mental Health Awareness Month during May by attending any of three upcoming Behavioral Health Fairs. Narcan training will be among the many events scheduled for the day.

The fairs will be occurring simultaneously on Friday, May 26, 2023 from 10am – 3pm at the following locations:

  • First Presbyterian Church, 42 Elm Street, Potsdam
  • Gouverneur Community Center, 4673 New York 58, Gouverneur
  • Massena Neighborhood Center, 61 Beach Street, Massena

SLH staff along with representatives from 14 local organizations and agencies will be on hand to provide, training, resources, and discuss such topics as:

  • Case management
  • Community support services
  • Connection and continuity of care
  • Narcan training
  • Prevention services
  • Suicide prevention (QPR) training

Light refreshments will be provided, and participants will have the opportunity to enter raffles for prizes.
