POTSDAM, NY – Board Certified Cardiologist Ruzaik Ibrahim, MD, FACC, FASE, has joined the St. Lawrence Health (SLH) medical team. He is seeing patients in the third floor Cardiovascular Suite at Massena Hospital, and the Leroy Outpatient Center, 50 Leroy Street, Potsdam.
Dr. Ibrahim is Board Certified in the following four areas of medicine: Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography, and Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC), and a Fellow of the American Society of Echocardiography (FASE).
He earned his medical degree at the University of California Los Angeles, David Geffen School of Medicine, Los Angeles, CA; completed his internship and residency at the University of California San Diego, CA; and finished a Fellowship in the Cardiology Program at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Ibrahim comes to SLH with experience as a Director of the Department of Cardiovascular Medicine. He is highly skilled in all areas of adult cardiology, including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiomyopathy, adult congenital heart disease, arrhythmias, and preventive cardiology.
