Pittsford, NY - Rochester Regional Health (RRH) is excited to announce the opening of the Women’s Health & Wellness Center in Pittsford, the first-of-its-kind destination health facility in both the Finger Lakes Region and Western NY, that is focused on women and their unique healthcare needs. The center will open to patients on March 11.
“Rochester Regional Health’s commitment to women's health extends beyond medical treatment. The new Women’s Health & Wellness Center creates a space where women feel heard, respected, and empowered to make informed choices about their health,” said Elizabeth Bostock, MD, Executive Medical Director for Women’s Health. “We know that women have unique healthcare needs – they can present with different symptoms, respond to treatments in a different way. The Center recognizes those differences and works to make sure women are getting the preventive care, early detection and tailored wellness programs they need.”
The 8,000-square-foot facility in the Pittsford Plaza, has been completely renovated into a state-of-art space featuring more than a dozen providers delivering a range of specialized services and programs personalized for women to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional health.
The Women’s Health & Wellness Center also features an on-site navigator, who can connect women with more specialists outside the location if needed, making sure they have confirmed follow-up appointments before they even leave the building.
