Thanks to a partnership among Rochester Regional Health, Orleans Community Health and Medina Memorial Hospital, a cardiology clinic opened in March, and it’s conveniently located on the first floor of Medina Memorial.
The clinic will offer diagnostic testing and referrals for procedures within Rochester Regional’s Sands-Constellation Heart Institute.
The Medina hospital already provided some cardiac services, but the new clinic expands those services – so people can get the important care they need close to home. Patients can get a referral to the clinic from their primary care provider.
Dr. Harry McCrea, a cardiologist with the Sands-Constellation Heart Institute, will lead the new clinic.
“It is an honor to be able to care for patients in the region in which I grew up,” McCrea told the Batavia Daily News. “This clinic is our commitment to patients to provide them with the best possible care when they need it and where they need it. It encourages them to seek help rather than put off care because they know someone will be there to help them.”
